    Locked Heart

    You are
    locked in my heart.
    I, myself,
    can't get you out.
    You swim
    in my head,
    making me dizzy.
    Your scent,
    Your smile,
    Your heart.
    Your prescence is
    forever imprinted on me.

    You are the key
    to my heart.
    Only you
    can pass the guards.
    Slipping by
    unnoticed.
    Bowing to you
    when through.
    Unlocking everything
    kept shut,
    spilling forward
    all my love.

    I try
    to close the gates.
    Keep you close,
    Keep you near,
    Keep you mine.
    Your eyes
    see me,
    Free me,
    Keep me here,
    keep me with you.
    You're forever
    ,and always,
    the secret yearning
    of my heart.
