Loss of an O.P. Friend

Loss of an O.P. Friend

She could have said goodbye.
It's such a simple thing.
It could be for just a moment,
or time that's everlasting.
At this very moment ,
I can not really know,
was it for greener pastures,
or the roof tops growing snow.
It can't for appearance,
because we never really met.
Only in our imagination,
did we smoke that cigarette.
Did I lose my charm,
or expose my worldly flaws.
Did I say the wrong thing more than once?
I guess I'll never know at all.

I fond this write though my thoughts find it rather hard to gather the truth beyond your words is it of true loss of your friend or have you recovered from a once over whelming addiction?

not saying some sort of goodbye is even worse than texting it

So simple and so heartbreaking. We all have at least one that falls away and we can't help thinking about. The unfortunate of the unknown.

They are a lot of Why's! And what if I did things different. If I fought a little harder and biggest of all What if I told really how I felt instead of pushing a person away, would it been a different outcome.
