Ponderance: Reactions

Amid all the stars and the changing effects
The sun, the moon, the cosmos
I lay listening to the whispers of design
a pattern, a feeling of presence divine

What one day brings lays the foundation for another
step by step a reaction to eachother
Connections between loves oceans afar
meaningless now is the distance between lovers

Does one swift movement of a butterfly's wings
send whispers through the wind?
Creating that medium between two souls
Or is it the cause of all our sins?

What was, we call past
it's what we currently know
discovered for us,
how do we grow?

Once a creature of time, a feeling so sublime
My spirit waivers at the weight of time
I do not know the future
I cannot feel the past
the present always open
to the heat of an attack.

The cause of my heart's palpitation
I wonder what keeps the rhythm.
Time's omnipresent hands
or the free will of my system.

Causes of the reactions
Could be any force divided
or maybe it's the course we assume
and nothing's undecided.
