there's something inside me that set me apart a fear inside my soul that I just cannot hide, flowing thru my veins feeling like ice cold water
not knowing of or having an idea of the road ahead
but in the distance a warning sign that flickers and the thoughts that cross my heart
shows me that I have inside my soul one thing man avoids
we there could be added another thing to my list of sins
I know someday of myself carrying the chains of sins of past men
I feel weighed down by them now, apparently costing me something
of my future, uncertain about my love to give, very uncertain about the love given to me, my soul unaccepting
I feel a sadness coming upon me, something kept silent
some things that i keep from myself, but I feel a fear coming
I feel that love passes me by, that everything is gone,
my respect for myself and other's respect for me
a tear should fall but being all cried out bears down
but fear once again raises and the heart goes back cold.
never knew hot and cold were so close to each other but never knew that pain would be an everlasting thing, maybe these chains of sins can be removed, maybe not..........
