    Will You Marry Me

    My life was so empty
    Till you came along
    You give me hope
    You gave me a song
    You showed me love
    In it purest form
    You healed my heart
    Though it was torn
    Since you came
    Ive learned to live
    You showed me love
    Has more to give
I will never want To let you go
    You stirred my heart
    You made love grow
    That there is hope
    In the quest of love
    Your love has come
    From far above
    Your words so soft
    And honestly pure
    Have captured me
    And held me sure
    You hold my life
    And hold my heart
    I know that we
    Shall never part
    Listen to my heart
    As its speaks so free
    I will love you forever
    “Will you marry me?”

If that is truly a photo of you, then you remind me of Glenn Close. This poem here is dear to my heart. You should read my poem "Evanescence" which is, in some ways, similar. Thanks for such a moving poem.

Oh how beutiful this was...I think I have to agree with other people when they tell you it is deserving of a better rating. This peom makes me feel what Love is so I thank you and thank you for your previous comment on mine, you make me really know that you understand where I came from when I read this poem.

rhythm and rhyme was the first element of this piece, then took me to a different direction. Because I like the feel of your words I increased the rating

Deserved better than a 5.5, raised it as much as I could. TS
