Wings of Love

My hearts numb I feel no pain
It was broken again and again
I felt so lonely, far from home
No one to love me, call my own
Looking for hope from above
To see it come on “Wings Of Love.”

Tears falling from my eyes
From the sunset to sunrise
Sadness of the deepest blue
Not enough to take me through
Praying for help from above
To see it come on “Wings Of Love.”

In a world of fear and pain
Thinking that I'd go insane
Wanting so to be set free
Open my eyes that I may see
Understand all I dream of
To see it come on “Wings Of Love.”

Need someone to take my hand
There is much to understand
The eyes the windows of the soul
I long to be completely whole
Long for Wisdom from up above
To see it come on, “Wings of Love.”

As I wake a new day begins
With a hope it never ends
Brought to me a great peace
Within love a sweet release
Now I realize my hope of
Seeing it come on “Wings Of Love.”

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
