Poem Commentary

Without Jesus all of this was true for me.

Without Your Love

Without your love
My life seems empty
And nothing can fill
The place I've saved for you
In my heart

Without your love
A river of sorrow
Flows past my door
And through my life
To your feet

Without your love
My heart is full of pain
And no one goes with me
To the rivers edge

I look into the water
And see you there
Reflected in my eyes
And my soul

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
