Your Fate
Walking in the room I find you
Rubber band still strangling your arm
Clothes in disarray, your missing a shoe
Your face is contorted, not at all like yourself
You wield a needle like I wield a pen
Remnants of the light bulb scatter the floor
My pen mars a page, the needle your skin
Your life in the hands of the drugs you taken
I watch you struggle to breath
Will you manage to live again
Your lungs continue to heave
I call for help with my cell
Scratches mar your once perfect skin
I can only hope you escape from your hell
This battle you might not win
All I know is I will find you again
In a drug induced state
Do you even want to survive
Maybe young death is your fate
Rubber band still strangling your arm
Clothes in disarray, your missing a shoe
Your face is contorted, not at all like yourself
You wield a needle like I wield a pen
Remnants of the light bulb scatter the floor
My pen mars a page, the needle your skin
Your life in the hands of the drugs you taken
I watch you struggle to breath
Will you manage to live again
Your lungs continue to heave
I call for help with my cell
Scratches mar your once perfect skin
I can only hope you escape from your hell
This battle you might not win
All I know is I will find you again
In a drug induced state
Do you even want to survive
Maybe young death is your fate
