Clock of Life
A field of dreams
Beneath me flows
While will-o-wisps
In windy seas blow
Scattered with rocks
A brook babbles low
Flowing into stillness
I watch it slow
Scenes keep twisting
Never the same
I could try to slow down
But how would I change
Would I be twisted
Could I be strange
If I could stop it
Do I want to stay the same
Time is the enemy
Whether slow or fast
Life will always change
History is always past
My field of dreams
flows far away
The brook that babbled
Dried up yesterday
Time has been kind
My life has gone slow
My coffin is lined
time for me to go
I will think of you fondly
while I soar through the sky
Remember me kindly
It was a lovely day to die
