A Lily Blooms in Queens...
A Lily Blooms in Queens
A city that never sleeps
Whose people are filled
With Haunted Memories
And Wasted Dreams.
It's daring them...
To Love,
To Dream,
To God forbid, Hope.
Its entirely antonymous
to it's environment;
Pure snow petals grace
The dirt-ridden street
And sweet fragrance permeates
The invincible smog.
This Dazzling flower's allure
Is only rivaled by
The symbol it conveys.
That even in this Concrete Wasteland,
With Glittering Skyscrapers
Littering the Earth,
Nature endures.
It's proof that Beauty can be
Found in the Ugliest places.
Ergo, We Endure.
It's also evidence that Hope can
Be Found in the Darkest situations.
Its simply all in the way you look at it.
