Poem Commentary

Another one about my mom and my dad.

The Eternal Pain

The pain never stops

And I keep trying to call the cops.

But my will has finally weakened,

My wild personality has long since meekened.

I’m so scared,

And I know you never cared.

When I look in your eyes,

I only see my own demise.

I’m broken, lost thanks to you.

Looking in the mirror wondering who.

People now call me “ma’am”.

But the truth is no one really gives a damn.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
