What is love?

Is it loving that person’s body or soul?

Are you supposed to feel that person makes you feel whole?

What is hate?

Is it wishing utter destruction of someone or is it another twisted form of love?

 Long ago you might have felt his very presence could make you able to fly in the sky and above.

 But where you’re filled with so much longing, so much lusting,

He’ll never love you back.

So what do you do with all this long-time lust and love that he lacks?

And what do you do with these new feelings of anger and betrayal?

Do you sit in that bottomless pit of depression while sinking deeper and deeper into its darkness?

For a while, yes

 But you have to get up & climb out or you’ll never see love again.

How can this sadness be contain-

Ed? How do you stop asking yourself “what am I living for”?

I don’t know the answer but I know to survive this maddening sadness,

You must fuel your unrequited love into hate in order to have the strength to stand up and to live once more.
