Beautiful Wreckage
Such a pretty face,
Absolutely amazing when smiling,
Eyes that both haunt and entice,
Such a sparkling personality,
You've never met anyone quite like her,
So beautiful,
But, yet, so damaged,
The scars not visible to the naked eye,
Are only seen by the heart,
But, what do you do with the wreckage you see?
Many ran,
Few stayed,
It's was to deal with baggage like that,
Head held high,
She still pressed on,
Never giving up,
Believing she'd get through it all,
And, she's come so far,
She still dreams,
And, hopes,
That one day,
Someone will see beyond her past,
And, be able to see her for who she is now,
And, waiting for when someone comes to love her,
Seeing her as someone whole and complete,
And, not the beautiful wreckage she once was.
Absolutely amazing when smiling,
Eyes that both haunt and entice,
Such a sparkling personality,
You've never met anyone quite like her,
So beautiful,
But, yet, so damaged,
The scars not visible to the naked eye,
Are only seen by the heart,
But, what do you do with the wreckage you see?
Many ran,
Few stayed,
It's was to deal with baggage like that,
Head held high,
She still pressed on,
Never giving up,
Believing she'd get through it all,
And, she's come so far,
She still dreams,
And, hopes,
That one day,
Someone will see beyond her past,
And, be able to see her for who she is now,
And, waiting for when someone comes to love her,
Seeing her as someone whole and complete,
And, not the beautiful wreckage she once was.
