    Poem Commentary

    A tribute to Aaliyah Dana Haughton, one of many that has inspired me. Girl, we miss ya! We're still rockin' out to your tunes! R.I.P!

    It makes ya think sometimes. She'd have been my age if she were alive now. It just goes to show you that you really shouldn't take the people in your life, the grace given, blessings, and so forth for granted.....

    Tribute
    Beautiful,
    Both in sound and spirit,
    Talented beyond measure,
    Able to captivate an audiance,
    What a tragedy that her life was cut short,

    In her prime,
    Ready to show the world what she was made of,
    A star already,
    Who knows how far she'd have gone,
    I guess we'll never know,

    Though she is gone from this place,
    Her light never went out,
    Her music is still alive in so many's hearts,
    She made her imprint,
    It will stick with us forever.
