Small Moments, Big Memories
Kissing me on the cheek in the morning,
Snuggling by me on the couch,
Listening to him count,
All those memories stick with me,
Seemingly small at the time,
But, so big in the longrun...
All the times he gets on my nerves,
When I just want to scream,
Seem so insignificant,
When compared to all the good times,
I try to cherish the good,
Because you never know how long you have,
He's growing so fast,
I can hardly believe he's five already,
Where did the time go, I often wonder,
So often, the things that happen go unnoticed,
But, I try to pay attention as much as I can,
Because those small moments become big memories.
Snuggling by me on the couch,
Listening to him count,
All those memories stick with me,
Seemingly small at the time,
But, so big in the longrun...
All the times he gets on my nerves,
When I just want to scream,
Seem so insignificant,
When compared to all the good times,
I try to cherish the good,
Because you never know how long you have,
He's growing so fast,
I can hardly believe he's five already,
Where did the time go, I often wonder,
So often, the things that happen go unnoticed,
But, I try to pay attention as much as I can,
Because those small moments become big memories.
