Beyond the sea
Come now they mighty wave that towers up so highthy thunderous voice does shake me and quake me but still
will I endure. they sweet crest like iron
crash down like thick concrete
and rushes me with its mighty tide and sweeps me off my feet
it pounds upon my soul and makes my heart to quiver
and sends me own through its tow like the might of a river
I rise to breath that sweet relief my lungs burn with effort
and still the waves roll and under I go an ever enduring toil
it spits me out on the soil
it throws me against the rock
it roars again than flees away as at last I reach dry land
I call to the see, " why are you leaving me."
but my voice is to weak to be heard
and the tide rolls out and I'm left without
and it leaves without even a word.
