Poem Commentary

Going to the Chapel and were going to get married......one day

The tale of two lives ( joined as one).

the lake all calm but a steal breeze
a gentle autumn chill
the sun dripping gold on ripples as it sinks below the world

the stars a glow, with silver moon, as early evening falls
a sight for eyes with joy they cry on this such an occasion

for under the canopy of autumn bright leaves
a gathering of friends and families
some on the left and some on the right
three stand in black, and one in all white.

the chaple, with no walls, no door, and no roof top
is lined with lights like at Christmas
the add to the glow of purple candles on each row
and a big one at the alter.

the alie is lined with a pure white sheet, with rose petals
thrown all around. the men in a dark red, like that of red wine
and the women in dark plum marching down in a slow line.

soft music, is playing to help set the mood
the guests are all watching as out steps the groom

he stands with the priest on top of the stage
handsome in his tux of black and dark red

then all of a sudden the slow music fades, and crowed is informed
and they turn and they sway.
for in back of the chaple with a bouquet of orchid white she
steps for with her dad at her side, and marches to that traditional song
what a beautiful dress, here comes the bride,

he first cannot speak, he's breath caught in his lungs
then he smiles so big his cheeks start growing numb, to thing that
this lovely girl dressed in white, will be his wife by the end of the night

the rest of the story plays on like tradition with tears, and promises, and a whole lot of wish'n, and then in that moment when the priest gives the word
the crowd is up roared " you may kiss your bride" those

these are the visions that flow through my head, as I await for that day and pray for those words to be said.  " I DO".

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
