    "swing wide ye heavenly gates, prepare ye the way of the Lord."

    Farewell (to my sorrows)

     farewell to all my sorrows
    goodbye to shattered dreams
    I've moved to the meadows
    I'm flowing with the stream
    I'm on the brink of eternity
    the future's in my grasp
    for time has begun to leave me
    and free me at last

    time is so irrelevant
    tomorrow indeed will come
    perhaps on this bitter shores
    or perhaps on another one

    perhaps the clouds will part their way
    perhaps the night will fall
    or perhaps this is all a dream and nothing is real at all. 

    but I like the dream I'm in for it must truly have a good end
    for up ahead in front of me the pearl gate i soon shall see
    and cry no more nor hurt or fear or wish to God that you were here
    for soon I know his face I'll see and sing his praises for eternity

    I think it would be a better poem if your end it after real at all the last paragraph takes away from deeper perspective first three sections I loved
