Beyond the Sound

Beyond the Sound

‘Beyond the Sound’

Enlightened souls dance,

Softly…

the edge of your lips.

Forgotten song falls…

Silently from

Your breath.

Flap your wings…

Sound of thunder,

Taste the waterfall;

The mist;

Suspended

Flower of

Rain.

Upon the dawn,

sneak into the break;

cross this great divide.

Watch the moon-

embrace the midnight blue.

Whisper nothing but taste-

such stillness.

Mock the outer-limit and

ride the dragonfly,

through the aurora blaze,

soar the mystic,

past this wild dream,

into the distance,

beyond the sound,

in the forever…

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
