Two Medusas Cry
Two Medusas Cry.
I’ll never forget the way you looked
straight into me.
Mesmerized by your kind and evil eyes;
you told me everything I wanted to hear.
Your comfort was so near.
Once the jealous aspiration
of so many hypnotized,
a beautiful angel and a loving goddess.
Then someone did you so wrong and they abandoned you.
Brought you down, bewildered,
and squandered the purity inside.
Who did this to you?
Ever giving a reason why??
He’s the one who killed the passion deep inside!
They’re the ones who shoved that dreadful dagger in your eye!
They did it all to you!
He did it all to you!
Taking these halos
for a wild ride;
down those fretful
dark hideaways.
Hear the Siren’s loving cry,
misused paramour-
never giving a
reason why??
Thought you could save me from
aforementioned uncertainties
in my life.
Forever seduced -
and shared all the truths -
with fear and faith side by side.
You had all the love and lust upon request.
I question who has been crucified,
abandoned, and lost in this ravenous fest.
Found you to be so clever with a hair full of moccasins,
the animus full of hatred and lies,
turning these tears into stone:” apathy petrified.”
Please, I also suffered by ‘like hands’ that did not justify!
But you brought your ghost full circle,
Oh! Thief fucking why?!?
(I’m not) the one who killed the passion deep inside!
(I’m not) the one who shoved that dreadful dagger in your eye!
They did it all to you!
He did it all to you!
Taking these ambiguities
for a wild ride;
down those fretful
dark hideaways.
Hear the Siren’s battle cry,
Misused paramour-
never giving a
reason why??
Last taste of you and I wield that
sword just the same.
Hear the anima cry!
Sealing this deal which severs this tie
between you and I.
Taking your head I shine its disturbance to all-
who try and do me wrong!
With all the malevolence and power I snuff inside.
Now this circle of perdition is fortified
You’re the one who killed the passion deep inside!
You’re one who shoved that evil dagger in my eye!
I give all thanks to you!
I got to hand it to you!
Forever protected by your past
and never asking why.
So seduced by you.
so misused by you.
so meduced to nothing…….
