The Relinquishing
Give away,
Give away,
Release above;
over and over
to a sun…
Let this go.
Slip away
in the atmosphere.
Diminish solemn tear.
Sigh… open ashen eyes.
Wish away,
Wish away,
Surrender below;
floating and floating
like a moon…
Letting go.
Fly away
in the open air.
Breathe silent prayer.
Inspire…shut indigo eyes.
