Phantom Fear
Phantom Fear
Shifting away from a misguided mystery
that slips across and wraps a knot
from me through all of you.
In the bottom it keeps killing me,
shadow after shadow,
through and through.
I step away,
I move away,
shy away Fear,
clear away
Phantom.
I understand you’re timeless;
your unforeseen destitute
withers me down,
limiting the efforts I so seek
that shifts from You to me -to You.
The Reaper’ only makes one stop
but you keep
killing me through and through.
Step away,
move away,
shy away Fear’
move away
Phantom’.
The revelation is that I
don’t have to feel this way anymore.
Filtering out this stoic submission
to look straight through to
the ghost inside of you
that keeps
killing me through and through.
Cornered by a mirror,
I recognize your face
in this courageous moment
realizing
that this heart is not afraid
to stop the Thing
inside that
kills me through and through.
I got to get away,
get away,
from this typical Beast
and Its nature
that jumps from You to me- to You,
to the bottom it keeps killing us,
time after time,
through and through.
One more chance
to recreate.
Open wings
Fly from Fear
Die away Phantom
Remove yourself from here…
