Too shy should I say.

Burst out through that tiny lump of gum

Little as patience is an anxious plum

I wait for those tiny pearls

And for a more beautiful smile

Come out from hiding, come out!

Put out teething cries, feverish smiles

Place some soothing cold gel about

We can only wait for time, please understand

These are only teeth coming out

If only my love can rid you of pain

Then misery is nothing but plain

But we can do nothing but give you hugs of comfort

That this will soon be over, i hope.

Little teeth please come out

So my little girl's pain would stop

Cute feverish smiles replace her cries

Burst little tiny pearly whites

There were two, then four then six

More gums a teething! Teethers are a fix

Soothing cold gell to try and lessen your angst

Temperate skin and itchy diaper rash

Now haughtily bite through just about anything

And everything, be among beasts of wild beings

May your pain stop, so as your tears

Forgive Mom and Dad, to not being able else, do anything
