Rise of Tides IX
Rise of Tides IX
-
-
Don’t we breathe the same air?
Walk the same floor, the same beach ourselves gather?
Aren't we one and the same?
We light a same candle that we both could put out the flame
-
Don't we all live under the same sun?
Under the reflection of the same moon, we run?
Is this a thought of the same despair?
The same plan of glamour and flair
-
Now let the other tides rise
Feed their corals with the blessings of the High
Not just as your friends claim a desolate land
Some mighty thought that you think was made by your hands
-
I am the tide that could wash these all away
Let me rise ten allow me to fail
For the knowledge of failure, I win on command
A guidance lost over by outshining stars
-
I am but a reflection of your prejudicial eyes
And yet you stumble at promise - a sure meaning of disgust
What you ask of me is to fade and be lost
A chink in your armor, at break of mistrust
-
You are losing me with the rising tides
Left and kept elsewhere to swallow a different land
That I see this different beach, explore different waters
Say in abasement, that nothing is a matter
-
I hurt and in pain, ne'er should I turn another cheek
My subconscious only gives me another fist
Forgive what I say, nothing is a fair play
When in my head I see you in dismay
-
The wise say book, be wary, a warning at bay
No armament could stop the rising, pray!
The tides are abound, following the commands I say
The earth would be in red as the tides encircle you as day.

The only words of encouragement are of my own.
