Dreams of Sabbath
Dreams of Sabbath
-
-
I wish to run away from here
To somewhere where You are near
Where I can surrender and hear Your voice
When truth can be truth and not a choice
-
Take my ears and leave me deft
To not hear awful things that are said
Leave the music and laughter to be remembered
But take away the evil mumblings unuttered
-
Guide me through these indecisive thoughts
My hands are neither bound nor free
My eyes are still clear to read your words
My ears still wait for Your voice, O Lord
-
Never do i stand alone to face the endless battles of faith
Ne'er should I be rattled when I am summoned
Use me and guide me, Yours are my will and strength
With You, my faith will never be broken nor bent
-
I wait for You, each and every day
That I look forward for the coming end
This be eternally true and correct
You are my Sabbath, my rest

Counting Your blessings
