Polaris
Polaris

-
Everynight on my way home
The stars shines above me with the moon
Seeking that secret good feel of anxiety
As i walk sure to these streets of gloom
-
The excitement fills me as it fills the air
Cold moist wind touch my cheeks as it plays
A few more steps and I’m there to see happiness,
And see you both at the end of this day
-
I look above and see them twinkle like your eyes
Like how Christmas felt in the heart of this child
An unopened gift that has nothing less but delight
Lifting my feet and my heart to the sky
-
The night sky is my sign that I'll soon be home
To hug and kiss you both till my days are gone
You are the stars that guides me to the where I belong.
My Polaris, my dear wife and daughter, I'll soon be home.
