    Hit me once
    You hit me once and i forgave you
    i never should have gave you a second chance.
    You swore to me it would never happen again
    but you lied to me, no suprise there.
    I was in love with you so the pain i endured
    all i wanted was to be with you.
    You hit again, i knew it would happen
    Swore it would never happen again
    I forgave you for far too long
    The hits got worse and i swore id get out
    but i loved you and you loved me i thought
    I blammed myself for every slap or hit
    but its time for you to see i cant take it
    Save the hit... I DONT love you anymore.

    i thought i read and commented on this before. guess i am getting old. this is an excellent poem. shows good form and word choice. the content of the poem for me is tough. been around that stuff too much in my life. it isn't love and never will be. hopefully you are in a safe and truly loving place now.

    You have me at attention, as I don't usually give people I never met a heart to heart, but listen up hun: By no means do I mean to come across as patronizing, as that is not my intention, but your still young, and thats a good thing. I sincerely hope that you are out of that mess, and in a better place. Learn from this hun, learn two important life lessons: A. As much as love is blind, always keep one eye open. B. Know how you deserve to be treated, and accept nothing less, from day 1. I wish
