I miss you baby girl- Juliana

I lost my reason for living,
a precious blessing given then taken away.

She was just 1 year old,
a daughter of my own my only child.

I miss you baby girl,
mommy loves you.

To wake up everyday without,
a pain thats so hard i cant bare.

A year spent waking up to cries,
now waking to silences and tears.

I miss you baby girl,
mommy loves you.

Every life has meaning,
her life still had so much in store.

Taken away without warning,
Shes not coming back to me.

I miss you baby girl,
mommy loves you

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter.I agree with the other comments about there not being anything to say to help express your sadness or help with your pain because you said it all in the best possible way.Great poem and I hope that writing about it helps.

Sorry about your loss...I can't relate to your pain and having two sons and losing them would be something I could never imagine.Your years may be young but your life experiences have given you wisdom few can relate too.Age is only a number it's the experiences we have that truly makes us who we are not our years.

I am sorry for your loss as well, I understand, I wrote a poetry book that was dedicated to my son "Songs of Lancelot" But now I have two beautiful boys, They can't replace him but, they have helped in dealing with the pain. Writing also helps to heal, not only you, but others as well. Keep writing.

First I want to say I am so sorry about the loss of your beautiful baby girl, that is so awful. There are no words that I can think of to help take away your pain. I wish there were, but there just isn't. The poem is very heart felt, and is very good. You can almost feel the intense pain she is feeling with the words.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
