Military girlfriend
I serve just as much as he does,
only i do not get the badges or honor
that i am completely fine with.
I serve proudly as a military girlfriend
not on the front lines for i am much too afraid
but i stand beside my man,
the man who supports this country with his life
My job is not easy for being alone becomes my life
I will always honor and support the love of my life
I choose this job and wouldnt have it any other way
for i am a military girlfriend someday a military wife
