Monster
There's a vicious beast inside hertrying to escape
and when it climbs over the edges
it leaves horror in its wake
it never shows much mercy
no; it barely ever stops
theres only so much a cage can hold
before bursting through the locks
Yes, this monster is a danger;
a menace to us all
built on human insecurity
made bone-by-bone by faults
And though this monster may be deadly
It is just like you and I
because even in its darkest moment
it still lives, and breathes, and dies
It grow's stronger, it grows weaker
It has moments of self-doubt
there are times when it isnt clear at all
just what this monster is about
and though it may be filled with hate,
sometimes it falters in its ways
because behind every single monster
is someone who made it that way.
