Nature's Perfect Valentine
I saw two pink flamingos
Entwined in an embrace.
Affectionately gazing,
Staring face to face.
Like two mirror images,
Each white, pink and black.
Colorful feathers, plumed together,
Wings wisped upon their backs.
Crooked beaks almost touching,
An inch or so apart.
Necks curved congruently,
Shaped just like a heart.
The scene left me mesmerized,
A warm and loving sign.
Serene and purely synchronized.
Nature's perfect Valentine.
