    To the men and women in the military.

    Our Country's Heroes

     The army, the air force and the navy
    I hope our country's heroes come home to their baby
    The danger and the fights
    The days and the nights
    The lost and the found
    The ones in the ground
    We all mourn
    For the torn
    The ones we love
    The ones now above
    We celebrate
    And set a date
    For the live
    And the grieving wives
    You're all so brave
    So we'll all be saved
    We all say 'You're not zeroes'
    'We're still hear thanks to our country's heroes'

    as a sailor and a sailors wife (not now but was) this poem hits home and thank you so much for writting it.

    This is beautiful and as I am joining the air force It means a lot. These soldiers put their lives in danger to make sure that we are safe. Very good write. Many of our fellow poets are soldiers so they will enjoy this read and like it. Keep writing
