paranoia

I miss you so much my heart could explode
And anxiety flows as I wait for your kiss
I am scared beyond measure and my hands are cold
For they claim to know who I am as they push me into the abyss

I don't know what they want or why do they know me
But they seem to seek some truth unknown
A knock on my door - and what else could it be?
I hope it's you, eager to press your lips against my own

thank you ♥

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
