    Submerged revisited

    Under current pushing me
    deeper still, closer to
oblivion than I have ever been.
I see you and my body ignites
    then explodes with all
the love I feel for you.
    I can't help it I'm hooked,
    I can't deny it I'm strung out,
    I can't change it I just don't want to.
What is it about you that makes me crazy?
I find myself wondering time and time
again, then I realize i have been
    officially submerged in love,
    submerged in you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
