    Alone

Banished to this neverending valley of loneleness,
utter solitude is all I have left of you.
My conscience was guilty but I never saw through
my own selfishness that, you were the only one for me.
So now I am alone, with no one to blame but myself,
but still I claim not to comprehend why you are only
but a dream to me now, no longer a sweet reality.

A very concise, tenderly heart-breaking poem here SM. Says a lot in few lines, which makes for a very noteworthy poem. Well done :)

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my poem. Would you mind reading more of my poetry, I wouldn't mind reading some of your poetry.

when relationships end it can be gut wrenching and hard to deal with.....very well written expression of that.
