    I want to fall in love

     To feel, to be taken in, engulfed, lovingly crushed,
    in something greater than myself.
    Intimate symbolism of what the world should be
    when we are together.
    I want to know what love is,
    I want to feel what love is, I want you to
    show me.
    To understand, to remember, to begin again
    with innocence restored.

    I wrote this poem at the beginning of a new relationship. I felt that it was a honest record of my feelings at that point in my life.
