    thanksgiving (acrostic)

    thankful for the world i see
    hopeful for whats to be
    anxious for whats to come
    not ashamed of what ive done
    knowing that i smile inside
    showing that im still alive
    greatful for those of whom
    i ve leaned upon a time or two
    various times when i am down
    i think of you and lose my frown
    never could i show enough
    giving thanks to those i love

    i think people so often overlook what is important in life and if we'd all just take a step backwards and take a look around everyone would realize that it is right in front of us... but still so many walk around with blinders on oblivious to the world around them and only able to focus what is straight ahead... thanks for the comment
