    Before I knew your name
    Or who your father would be
    I LOVED YOU
    Didn't even matter if you were a "he" or a "she"
    Or how big or small you'd grow to be
    I LOVED YOU
    Head full of hair
    Or head bald and bare
    Small and tiny
    Or fat and rare
    I LOVED YOU
    Now that your grown
    And out of the door
    If I had it to do over again
    I couldn't ask for more
    BECAUSE I LOVED YOU
    I thank God for the time we shared
    And the love that you gave
    Nothing else could compare
    AND I STILL.....LOVE YOU
    MY CHILD...
