IT'S PRETTY LONELY UP HERE (AT THE TOP)

On top of my world without you
I don't feel the excitement or reward for all my sucess
without you to share it with... thats true
Yeah it's lonely here at the top I finially see that nothing really matters
     more then your love
And I do mean to flatter
I must say the struggle made us strong and showed us what really matters
Our love for one another regardless of others chatter
However now that your gone and I don't have you to share this with
my spirit feels low and my heart feels whipped!!
Up here at the top isn't what I thought it would be
For without you my love the tears flow and I can hardly see..
All the way to the mistakes that I somehow made
I have sheer regret and dark memories in the shade'..
I didn't know that I needed you in my life this way
I'm so sorry and desperately need to say...
I'm so lonely up here without you..
And if I could do it over again,
I'd show you everyday my love for you
And try "Your love" to win

I can really relate to this.. The whole concept is probably why I don't leave my man..it is somehow worse when I'm without him..Can't live w/ him..can't live w/out him.. truly confusing,,but you put into words an exact feeling that has kept me where i am.. Great piece.

You are "WHOLE" and can do whateer you want, you are comfortable in your uncomfortableness but you are worth so much more then you give yourself credit for I can see that without glasses, and I'm near sighted ha-ha!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
