If I were another
If I were another, what would I change? The injustice to newborn babies
Born adducted to crack!!
While the rich get richer because of legal loopholes
And the masses must learn to live with lack
The high cost of simply watching T.V
While the price of water escalades!
When healthcare can't be found,
Yet the increase of crime on our streets prominades!
If I were another this is what I'd change
Homelessness would be a thing of the past,
And hunger would be on the down swing super fast!
Jobs for everyone regardless of age
And the cost of living increase wouldn't be in a stage
No more broken hearts or cheaters allowed
No lies, deception or pointing the finger behind a shroud
If I were another, this is what I'd do
I'd make life much easier, both for me and for youYet keeping in mind these trials make us stronger
Perhaps I'd temper the "Lenght" of our trials instead
So it wouldn't last much longer
But I've come to see at times we need hardships and pain
For without them only leads us to shame
The shame of being unthankful for att that we do have, our life our health family and friends the sunshine we can see and the heart that beats within If I were another this is what I'd do
Everyone would have the necessaries of life and the fortitude to pursue happiness,
Along with the wisdom to know the difference
If I were another this is what I'd wanFree laughter for everyone along with ice cream, a special love for each person without tears and screams two hands to hold two arms to cuddle, a clear understanding without all the muddle
A bank account tha's sustaining and no more room for complaining, But sense I'm not anothet and can only change but one life at a time, one step at a time, I'll start with me and change what I can
Honestly and sincerely, Tanya Warsaw
