    When the Earth Shakes

    Rumbling and rolling

    Should give you a thrill

    ~

     

    Like riding a bicycle

    Down a steep hill

    ~

     

    A sharp sudden jolt

    The rollercoaster stops

    ~

     

    An enjoyable ride

    With so many drops

    ~

     

    Your head gets dizzy

    On the merry go round

    ~

     

    Can't wait until it stops

    Put your feet on the ground

    ~

     

    Hot air balloon slowly lifts to the sky

    Incredible feeling a natural high

    ~

     

    When the earth shakes under our feet

    Stomachs get queezy, knees feel weak

    ~

     

    An uneasy feeling takes hold of our hearts

    We pray that it stops, before things fall apart

    ~

     

    ( A few thoughts followng our most recent earthquake on Easter Sunday, 7.2....it most definitely got our attention )
