    Last Chance For Love

    Remember that day

    You took my hand

    You said; let us go for a walk

    You asked what it was

    I held inside that

    That kept such sadness

    In my heart

     

    I felt myself

    Begin to tear up

    Oh, how I did not want to cry

    I was afraid to

    Bare my soul

    In addition, this is the reason why

     

    If you had loved someone

    As deeply as did I

    And had your heart broken repeatedly

    Then possibly, you could understand why

    Although this may be

    A last chance for love

    The fear that resides

    In this fragile heart

    Needs time and patience to heal
