A Christmas Wish this Winter Solstice
I see the winter equinox
external light wane-ing
while the Big Dipper's box
clear night's sustaining
Less Sunshine on earth
while heaven stands glorius
impervious to our Globe
the terra firma below us
Here on the planet
with artificial lights
the spirit of Christmas
now fills the nights
Dispelling the infirmement
with sparkling beacons
our reminder of love
with family this season
Dickens so well noted
a 'Christmas Carol' shone
as Tiny Tim was quoted
'God Bless Us, Eveyone'
