“More Tales of the "Jersey Lilly"
~ Sept ‘09Brought it home from another
An orphaned cat discovered
A product of divorce
When a loving God mother
preserved her life force
She fed her outside
Then named her Nelly
And got some good rubs
on her pure white belly
But could not take her in
so she called a friend
Where love would abound
instead of the pound
for this lost and found
So this cat set free
was now free to me
Once lonely to roam
had a new found home
I miss heard Nelly as Lilly
this little rescued filly
With thoughts of Langtree
she became my Jerzee Lilly
And love has ensued
with this one rescued
Though Gabby's mom said that
"Why did you get a used cat?"

After a visit to the Vet

Now in recovery
With a recent discovery
That She is a He
Was no surprise to me?
I’ve been wrong before
And shall be again
Because I look in their eyes
And not their rear end
His gender was hidden
By long flowing hair
And to that end
I chose not to stare
Of course he was fixed
By original dependents
So even investigation
Would reveal no evidence
So ends the Tale of Jerzee Lilly
But ‘Hey Bud’
Either way you’re lot’s of fun
Now Jerzee Willy
Because he has one…
