a lil secret part two
She was tired, two months to goMiserable pregnancy, sick straight thru
When she left in da morning, food in da house, money in da bank
She'd come home, food n money gone, hope n faith sank
No matter how hard she tried
So many times she cried
Her other half always with his boys
Wouldn't help, he'd get high n play with toys
Well da date was set, da baby was late
April 4th picked at the hands of fate
Dat was her uncle's birthday
Who passed da yr before, on her bro's bday, March 27th was dat day
She didn't tell ne one at all
When da baby was here, then she'd call
On came da intense contractions
Her other half just a distraction
She picked up da phone
She hated her mother, but called on her own
Her mother hurried to her side
Ten hours of pushing, da baby stuck inside
Baby's oxygen level starts ta crash
For da operating room, da nurses n doctors dash
A baby girl making no sound
Weighing two ounces short of seven pounds
What seemed like days, finally a cry
N a young momma letting out a sigh
For awhile things seemed okay
Alittle over a year another on da way
Just as sick as before
Her other half paid no attention no more
So much stress n pressure
Rising her blood pressure, off da chart it would measure
Walking out da bedroom one morning
To find him n another, on dem da sunlight burning
She accused
He refused
Her feelings n accusations she began to drown
The truth remained unknown
Premature labor stopped three times, they wouldn't again
Two a.m. back labor began
Waiting for da doctors call
He slept, she paced da hall
Six a.m. she couldn't take no more
Screamed at him thru da bedroom door
She wouldn't let him smoke a cigarette
She said drive n forget it
Rising was da sun
After a short surgery he had a son
Two years n all they did was fight
She couldn't stand him in her sight
Always disagreed
But them being over, they agreed
She moved out
Running da streets no doubt
Staying warm n feed
Laying in another man's bed
Lurked another secret not so sweet
In time, she'd have to one day defeat
