No Longer
If you would look at me/ You would see/ That something that once was there/ Is no longer here/ I took a stand/ And gave back my wedding band/ Your game, I couldn't play anymore/ So I walked out the door/ It was me you always put under attack/ I'll never look back/ My bruises, I could no longer hide/ Inside and outside/ I'll be scarred for life/ I was suppose to be your wife/ Not a slave/ I did not deserve what you gave/ It took me a few years/ And quite a few tears/ But you were wrong/ And I got strong/ And I have no regret/ But I'll never forget/ How I walked away/ You never thought I'd find away/ I wasn't to blame/ And no longer need to feel shame/ I couldn't forgive/ And I needed to live/
