    I wrote this in memory of my uncle when he passed on my brother's birthday

    In memory of Lane VanDenElzen

     Dear Lane/ God took you away/ How I wish you could stay/ I cannot believe you're not here/ But I do know you're up there/ Shining down on me/ Helping me see/ That each day will pass by/ And it's okay to cry/ That everything will be alright/ Maybe not this night/ Each step maybe rough/ But you're my angel, helping me be tough/ And giving me a hand/ Helping me understand/ That I have memories to hold onto/ And Uncle Lane, I never said it enough, but I LOVE YOU/
