The Walk
My feet hitting the pavement
Swift movement
Walk and walk
The streets and sidewalk
Just trying to find the path
Complicated as math
Making the turn
A lesson to learn
Choosing the wrong
The right path I long
Hitting a dead end
Another path, my knees continue to bend
Moving me in another direction
Meeting an intersection
At this corner standing
Just ain't understanding
For if one door closes tight
A window is suppose to open right
But why do I feel stuck in the hallways
With no stairways
Just stuck on the winding road ahead
Shaking my head
Losted and confused
No escape route left to used
Steady walking
In my head talking
Trying to figure out which way to go
Needing a clue to show
Wondering aimlessly
Looking helplessly
Wearing out the sole of these shoes
Giving up I refuse
One day
Someday
I'll open a door
My dreams and goals will soar
Fly higher then expected
How I got there, will be respected
But needing to climb these hills
Getting hope n faith refills
Never letting it drain me
I'm stronger then what you see
I'll overcome these mountains
Shake off these burdens
Whatever obstacle
I'll make it my miracle
This walk may get longer
But I'll only get stronger
Don't count me out
I'll make it one day, no doubt
