Refusing
You are not who you wereOn everything, I would of once swore
But you refuse to let them feelings soar
Heart and mind debate
Wondering why I sit and wait
You always refusing to state
Just maybe it's not only me
It's you, what else could it be
Your refusing to let me see
Tired of placing blame
Mutual feeling no longer the same
Refusing to play your game
Tired of the illusion
Sick of constant confusion
Not only me refusing the decision
Thought you once were true
But being with you left me blue
Happiness no longer shines through
That's why I walked away
Now you have words to say
But there just words, you refuse to change your way
Now you wish to confess
My world you once had access
Of it, I refuse to let you make a mess
You once had my heart
An end comes to everything that gets a start
I refused to stay, knowing we needed to part
You always took me for granted
Love for me you once chanted
An apology I refuse, my feelings I recanted
I can't stay with you no more
I can't let you use me anymore
I refuse to be a fool, on you my heart closed it's door
