A Mother's Love

Poem Commentary

A tribute to my best friend in life and the person we gave me birth into this world and by the grace of God never straggled me in my sleep as child, lol. Ps I was a living terror, dennis the menace in the flesh, lol.

A Mother's Love

There is one thing in this vast universe,
Which cannot be seen,
For we are blind to.

Nor can we hear it,
For we are deaf to.

This is the one thing in the universe,
Which can only be felt loaving in the heart.

This is the feeling that runs into the deepest and darkest crevice of the universe,
On a distant star in the realm of tranquility.

For it is here that two souls have been joined by God for all of eternity,
For it is here in that remote desolate sparkle in the sky that all dreams may come true,
For it is here in this wondrous place that lies the love of two.

A love that’s immense power can move mountains,
Part seas,
And overwhelm any odds of any ends.

It is a love of eternity,
For thou art a gift from our amorous God.

This is a love that was bonded never to be broken,
Never to be destroyed,
And never to be denied.

It is a love that will stand through any age,
For it shall last through it all.

To the very ends of the earth itself,
There these two souls shall be,
Forever it is a love betroven in eternity.

For this love comes in many shapes and sizes,
But never to be fulfilled in the endless growing prizes.

For this is a Mother’s love for her son,
A Mother’s love is endless,

Burning in the stars,
Never to be caged by bars.

A Mother’s love is golden and divine,
One that shall always shine.

And so,
For as long as these two souls shall be,
Shall they be,
In the truth of God long into eternity.

Shall it be written into the book of life,
A thousand many and a ton,
Shall in this place you will always find the true love of a Mother and her son…

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Mother’s love is endless,
Written in the stars,
A Mother’s love is Godliness,
In the purity of ours!!!

This is truly a beautiful heart-felt write. As a mother who almost lost my son, I know the bond between a mother and son. I am blessed and also have daughters. This has me in tears. It is an absolutely beautiful tribute to mothers everywhere. Thank you angel...

You truly love your mother. I also loved mine. The first poem I ever wrote was four days after her death. I'll post it. I like your passion for those you love angel. Nice.

My mom was my first love and my first passion, from the time I was very young, about 3 or 4 I used to make cards for her, pick flowers, little things like that. Me and my mom have always had a very close relationship, and bond, in many ways we grewup together. Been through so many hard times, seen so many horrible things, we lost so much, had so little, but one thing was always constant, we had eachother and that was always more than enough!!! Thanks so much for reading and commenting, it is greatlty appreciated and always welcome! Purity of the soul, journey well!!! with grace and humility ANGEL

Angel ... A beautifully written dedication to your loving Mother. I lost my real Mother when I was 3. She passed away from a brain hemmorage caused by an internal ear infection. I can still remember her though .. even though I was so young. My Father remarried when I was 11 and I have a wonderful Step Mom who I love dearly. She is 91 and still going strong. Again, Great dedication to the greatest bond. :) Ken

This poem has been a great inspiration to me and once again another cherished gift of your writting. It will always be ingrained in me as every so often I take it out and read it again. It is here like my covers to my bed are. Always soft, beautifully colored and comfortable that surrounds me just when I need them, especially when the world is eating me alive. I can rest in the words and bask in the security that no matter what we will always be one.

A truly warm and loving tribute to the dedication and unconditional love between Mother and child mirroring God's own love for all of his children....Very sweet and tender write!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
